Disney Parks

Three Reasons To Visit Disney For Fall

Leaves are falling, Autumn is calling! The First Day of Fall is still one week away, but Walt Disney World is already in the swing of things. Planning an upcoming Disney trip? Here’s why a fall trip should be on your radar.

Lighter Crowds

Being one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world, Walt Disney World is pretty much always crowded! Although a lot of people in the parks is virtually unavoidable, there are lighter times of the year! Fall happens to be one of them. Visit the parks most days in September and most week days in October, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised! Definitely not the crowds that people have grown to expect like when during peak season. Add a hurricane in there, and the parks are pretty much a ghost town.

This is Halloween

One major motivator for people to visit Disney for fall is the Halloween transformation that takes place in the parks. Magic Kingdom is decked out in pumpkins, leaves, and all things Autumn! Kids and adults alike get a chance to dress up for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  This extra ticket event is the perfect way to satisfy your Halloween fix. With the Happy Hallowishes Fireworks show featuring the Sanderson Sisters and the unforgettable Boo-To-You Parade, there’s plenty of ways to get into the Halloween spirit!

All the Food

Pumpkins, Candy Corn, and Mummies…Oh My! From candy apples to decorated rice crispies, you’re sure to find your perfect fall treat in Disney. Aside from Halloween goodies to enjoy throughout the parks, Epcot has the perfect event for any Disney foodie. Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival takes place all season long featuring tastings from over 35 different booths. Eat and drink around the world while enjoying the cooler weather that comes with the fall season! Learn even more about the Food and Wine Festival here.
