3 Reasons I’m Falling In Love With This Season
Autumn is here! Even though I have a July birthday and usually prefer the summer season, the first few weeks of fall are changing my mind. Fall is quickly becoming my new favorite season, and here are a few reasons why.
It’s Time For A Change
Living in Louisiana, the weather is hot and humid year round. Although we haven’t seen a drastic change in the weather yet this season, the cooler temperatures in the morning have been so nice! With cooler weather also comes a new wardrobe. I am so excited to have a reason to go on a fall shopping spree for new boots, pikos, and flannels! Can it be sweater weather already?
It’s A Reason To Decorate
My husband Nick and I just bought our first home back in May and my favorite part of our new home has been decorating! The fall season will be no exception. With the change in seasons, I’ve had a chance to be creative with our outside decor for our porch! I’m also planning to make a custom fall wreath for our front door. Another project we are ready to take on is redoing our garden. We have been putting this off due to the heat, but with lower temperatures coming we should be tackling this soon!
It’s Almost The Holiday Season
Once the fall season comes around, the year begins to fly by with all of the upcoming holidays. It’s now October, which means that candy corn and candy pumpkins are back in stock and Halloween will be here soon! Nick and I will be carving our pumpkins soon and we are looking forward to having Trick or Treaters come by our house this year! Once Halloween passes, it’s time for the holidays. I love the holiday season because it’s an excuse to see my family and friends more! Before we know it, it will be Christmas morning.
October has been such an exciting month so far. Between so many birthdays, anniversaries, and Halloween, I’m optimistic for the fall season. I’m all ready to carve a pumpkin and pig out on some candy corn!

October 6, 2016 at 1:36 pmI love the whole autumn. In my country October is a little bit chilly and it often rains but I love the brilliant colors, the fresh morning and I even love fog…. A foggy landscape is so magical.

Totally agree that it’s the perfect start to the holiday season. Bonfires, changing of the leaves, and drinking more hot beverages instead of iced capps.
