Layers of Laughter
Happy Friday! I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I’ve got my fingers crossed for some warmer weather after a pretty chilly past few days. This Louisiana girl is not exactly built for the cold weather, I’m more partial to the sunny skies of the south if we’re being honest!
With the recent weather, this time of the year calls for one thing that I love to rock — layers! My favorite layer has always been a good flannel. Once it starts getting a little chilly in the fall, I go into full flannel mode! Whether it’s around my waist or thrown on top of a statement tee, I just can’t get enough.
When I ran across this blue Mickey sweatshirt, I knew it would go perfectly with one of my favorite flannels. It’s no secret that I’m a lover of all things blue and Mickey’s expression is putting off the best vibe for a great day!
Paired with my favorite high rise skinny jeans and lace up boots, I’m ready to take on the world! Since I can’t always visit my happy place, outfits like this are a perfect short term fix.
I’ve always focused my Disney style on the little details. A necklace, earrings, or one aspect of a piece of clothing! This year I’ll be changing it up a little and adding more obvious magic to my style.
I’m excited because, much like wearing Minnie ears in the parks, there’s just a glow when people notice that you’re wearing something Disney related! It’s like this universal language of joy and laughter that I love to be a part of.
It’s always fun when someone, especially a stranger, has some appreciation for something you’re passionate about. Disney has always been that for me and I’m so happy that there’s an outlet like this for me to share my love with those care to be a part of it!
