When it comes to fun and unique park snacks, Disney is never in short supply. From churros to Dole Whips to festival food, there’s always something new to munch on! What if I told you that there was another deliciously sweet frozen treat that Disney has whipped up hidden at a resort only minutes from the Magic Kingdom?

Whip lovers rejoice because on my most recent trip to Walt Disney World, I ventured off to the Wilderness Lodge resort to try a fairly new refreshing treat known as Berry Whip. Northwest Berry Whip was first available at Geyser Point Bar and Grill last summer and is still here and ready to enjoy!

Berry Whip is a mixed berry frozen treat that is perfect for the sunny Orlando weather. It’s available for $4.29 at the Geyser Point Bar & Grill Lounge. Looking for a more adventurous option? Try the Berry Whip with Zodiac Black Cherry Vodka for $10.00.

While this whipped delight isn’t a soft serve treat like the Disney favorite Dole Whip, it’s more of a frozen slushy consistency like a treat you would find at one of Epcot’s many festivals. If you were looking for an excuse to resort-hop over to Wilderness Lodge, this would be it!

Wilderness Lodge is a resort near Magic Kingdom that can be accessed by a short boat ride. It’s got gorgeous grounds and scenery, perfect for those who love the great outdoors! I haven’t had a chance to stay at this resort yet, but it’s on my bucket list!

Pro Tip: Geyser Point Bar and Grill is open from 11 AM to Midnight which leaves plenty of time in the day to resort hop over. We made the trip during the afternoon parade in Magic Kingdom and I highly suggest this time frame. Have a little break from the crowds, a refreshing frozen treat, and head right back to the park!

I really loved having the chance to visit this gorgeous resort. Walt Disney World has so many hidden gems on property outside of just the parks and their resorts are definitely some of them.

As for the Northwest Berry Whip, I suggest making the trek to Geyser Point Bar & Grill at least once to try it for yourself! While the original Dole Whip will always be my favorite whip, I loved having the chance to try something new. If mixed berry is your jam, you’ll love this!
