Who’s the Leader of the Club That’s Made For You and Me?

November is here and this month is all about my favorite mouse! A cultural icon is about to turn 90, and I could not be more excited to celebrate. Ain’t no party like a Disney party!

2018 has been full of Mickey-inspired pieces created in honor of The True Original. As a lifelong Disney fan, it’s been so fun to see creators from all over getting influenced by a character that means so much to me! It’s hard to imagine that in just 10 years Mickey will be 100.

One Mickey collection that really caught my eye was Forever 21’s. While most of the collection included sweaters, (something that can’t realistically be worn most of the year in South Louisiana where I live) it also included fun accessories like this red Mickey beret. 

It’s a subtle touch of Mickey that can be worn whether I’m visiting my happy place or not! To celebrate Mickey‘s birthday this month, I wanted to go with a fun and simplistic look that makes the mouse the center of attention. Thanks to this cute beret and a fun denim jacket, I’d say mission accomplished! 

This year I’ll have the chance to be in Walt Disney World in Mickey‘s birthday, and I can’t wait to see what the Most Magical Place on Earth has planned for the occasion! I’m hoping for lots of sweet birthday treats.

2018 has been a pretty big year for me and I’d be lying if I said Mickey wasn’t a major part of that. Thanks to Mickey and the world his spirit has created for us, I’ve been able to find my greatest passion in Disney. A place and a brand that creates happiness for anyone who chooses to embrace it. How cool is that?
