Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
The ultimate way to celebrate the Christmas season in Magic Kingdom is attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! On select nights in November and December, Mickey and his friends host a holiday party complete with a Christmas parade, spectacular shows, and tons of festive treats. This is a special ticket event that requires extra admission in Magic Kingdom, so be sure to grab your tickets before they sell out!
Holiday Decor
A major part of the holiday season at Walt Disney World is all of the custom decorations throughout the parks. In Magic Kingdom each of the six magical lands are decorated to match their unique themes, and it’s worth a tour of the park to take them all in! Tomorrowland is decked out in silver tinsel and colorful ornaments for a perfect futuristic feel, while Main Street, U.S.A boasts classic Christmas colors and Mickey-shaped wreaths galore.

Every morning in Magic Kingdom, guests have the chance to watch a fabulous trolley show featuring a medley of classic songs that represent the spirit of Main Street, U.S.A. Like most things this time of year, the trolley show experiences a festive transformation! The men and women on the trolley show are dressed in their holiday best, and have a new medley some of your favorite Christmas tunes. This version of the show is only available in November and December, so be sure to check the daily time guide to see what time they will be performing while you’re visiting!
Holiday Treats
Feast on festive bites throughout the Magic Kingdom this season. From holiday-inspired shakes and sweets to the twelve dogs of Christmas at Casey’s Corner, there are quite a few winter-exclusive tastes to seek out this year. Even the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street U.S.A. is currently featuring Peppermint as its ice cream flavor of the month! Grab a friend and snack your way around Walt Disney World’s first theme park.
Christmas Windows on Main Street, U.S.A.
In addition to the gorgeous garlands and wreaths that line Main Street U.S.A, Disney adds details into each of the shop windows as you walk down towards the castle! The Emporium windows feature animated scenes from Mickey’s A Christmas Carol along with storybook pages that share what’s happening in front of you. The Main Street Confectionary windows feature lots of holiday sweets as well as Daisy, Huey, Dewey and Louie in their holiday best! As you head into Magic Kingdom, take a few minutes to do a little “window shopping” so you won’t miss these details.
Dapper Dans
Magic Kingdom’s barbershop quartet, the Dapper Dans, are a must-do Main Street U.S.A. experience! During this time of the year, their classic costumes transform to celebrate the holiday reds and greens, and these talented men sing a medley of your favorite Christmas tunes. Along with singing, the Dapper Dans are also known to tap dance and play the chimes during their performance, so be sure to stop and enjoy this performance when you visit!
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
In Liberty Square near Liberty Tree Tavern, you can find Christmas all year long at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. There’s no better souvenir to celebrate your holiday Disney trip than a special ornament from this festive shop! Guests can even have their ornaments personalized here for an additional fee. Still need to send a letter to Santa? Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is also home to a North Pole Letter-Writing Station.
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
At the Castle Stage in front of Cinderella Castle, guests can watch Mickey and friends perform daily with characters from some of their favorite Disney movies. To get into the spirit of this holiday season, the finale scene of this show changes to match this time of the year.
