In just over a week, Epcot’s first festival of 2019 will be in full swing. Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts kicks off Friday, Jan. 18, complete with tasty plates and artful experiences. If you’re visiting Walt Disney World during this festival season, here are five interactive activities to experience during Festival of the Arts.

Animation Academy

Have you ever wanted to draw your favorite Disney characters? At the Animation Academy, you can. Inside the Odyssey Festival Showplace, guests can enjoy the ultimate drawing class experience taught by real Disney artists – talk about the ultimate Disney vacation souvenir.

Artful Photo Ops

As you make your way around World Showcase, leave your own mark on famous works of art. In Mexico, Italy, the American Adventure, France and United Kingdom, guests can jump right into famous masterpieces and capture every moment, thanks to Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers.

Chalk Art

In Future World East, near Test Track and Mission: Space, guests can watch chalk artists bring Disney characters to life right on the pavement. Feeling creative? Grab a piece of chalk and compose a masterpiece of your own!

Figment’s Brush with the Masters

Explore World Showcase in a new way with this fun scavenger hunt around the globe. Keep an eye out for Figment in various works of art throughout the pavilions, with help from your map. Get started by purchasing your map at the Odyssey Festival Showplace, Pin Central, Disney Traders or World Traders.

Paint-By-Numbers Mural

Grab a brush and help to create a larger-than-life mural, daily, in Showcase Plaza. As the day goes on, the ultimate paint-by-numbers mural comes to life, and you get to be a part of it. Stop by Showcase Plaza near the Canada pavilion from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to leave your mark at Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts.
