Things are about to get even more wild at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World. A new Disney-Pixar character is heading to the park – Kevin the Bird from UP! According to Disney, Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell’s colorful, feathered friend should be making an appearance in the park starting next month.

Disney-Pixar’s UP has continued to grow its presence in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. From the Wilderness Explorer program to the recently updated show UP: A Great Bird Adventure, this park is the place to be for fans of the film. Russell and Dug are also available for meet and greets daily on Discovery Island, so was only a matter of time before another character from the popular film would make an appearance.

Although it is still unclear how Kevin will be available to guests in the parks, it’s safe to say Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have an exciting new addition to their feathery friends very soon. So if you’re headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the next month or two, don’t forget to stop by Discovery Island and keep an eye out for our favorite chocolate-loving bird! Adventure is Out There!
