Last weekend Nick and I took a spontaneous trip to Orlando for the weekend! Considering it’s one of my favorite cities, I guess you could say I was pretty excited to pack for this last minute trip. Although I’m fortunate enough to visit Walt Disney World every few months, Nick doesn’t make it over to the Most Magical Place on Earth nearly as often. Since we wanted to stay close to the magic on the cheap, I looked into rooms at my favorite Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel — Wyndham Lake Buena Vista! This was Nick’s first time staying at this hotel, so when I found a tower room (better, refurbished room) with a Disney Springs view I was ecstatic. It would be great to gaze upon some of my favorite shopping and dining spots around Disney and bonus perk — we could see Spaceship Earth!

Although we were in Orlando for a few days, we only spent one of the days in the parks. I think this was good because it gave us an excuse to check out some other areas of Orlando and on the Disney property! We got the chance to revisit one of our favorite resorts, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. We attended the wet and rainy 2019 Pro Bowl at Camper World Stadium. #WHODAT And we park hopped from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Epcot to enjoy a little of what the Festival of the Arts has to offer.

The best part about the end of each day was coming back to our room, settling in for the night, and watching the IllumiNations fireworks from our window! There’s just some details of Disney magic that will never stop leaving me in awe.

Since this was basically a Disney vacation, I waited until we got to Orlando to finally wear my brand new Munki Munki Minnie PJs! Does anyone else like to save special clothes or jammies for a vacation? Because same. I first discovered Munki Munki PJs while shopping at Target. They had the most beautiful Rapunzel nightgown and I was obsessed. Am I the only one who has a serious love for cute pajamas now that I’m an adult?
