It wouldn’t be the Most Magical Place on Earth without an array of delicious new desserts to discover! Spring is here and so are eight new treats to hunt around Walt Disney World on your next vacation. From cupcakes to cones, there’s something here for every type of appetite!
Gelato-Filled Donuts
Fans of warm meets cold sweet treats will love the all-new Bombolato at Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs! This $8 delight features a scoop of your choice of 21 different flavors of gelato sandwiched within a warm, Italian donut. The creation is pressed to perfection and would be worth a trip over to Disney’s shopping and dining district for gelato lovers!
Heart of Te Fiti
2019 has been all about the colorful cones at Walt Disney World, and this next dessert is no exception! Inspired by Disney’s Moana, this lime soft-serve treat is served in a bright green cone with a beautiful Polynesian flower on top for decoration. This refreshing cone can be found for a limited time at Disney’s Polynesian Resort at Pineapple Lanai for $5.29.
Herbie the Love Bug Cupcake
Last month, The Love Bug celebrated its 50th anniversary and in honor of this milestone, the movie-inspired Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort started offering a special dessert! The chocolate cupcake is topped with white powdered sugar, two colorful stripes of red and blue fondant, and a white chocolate number 53 circle to represent the famous car. Since there is a The Love Bug themed area at the resort, this fun dessert only seems fitting at this location! Grab yours for a limited time in the World Premiere Food Court for $5.49 or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Most Beautiful Cake
If you’ve ever heard of the “You Are Most Beautiful” Wall in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll be excited to learn that this iconic photo spot has inspired an all-new dessert in Harambe Market. The Most Beautiful Cake is a coconut cake filled with a pineapple center topped with coconut mousse and a beautiful flower resembling the one from the mural! This treat is available only in Harambe Market for $4.99 or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Mousketeer Cupcake
Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me? M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! In honor of the big cheese’s 90th birthday last year, this cupcake is currently available in Magic Kingdom! The Mousketeer Cupcake is a marbled yellow and red velvet cake cupcake topped with bold black icing, black sugar crystals, two chocolate Mickey ears, a bit of red icing, and a chocolate Mickey Mouse head. This cupcake is available in the Main Street Bakery for $6.99 or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Spring Garden Cake
Spring has sprung all over the Walt Disney World resort, and this next dessert is proof! The Mara in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is serving up a Spring Garden Cake that just screams seasonal fun. This coconut cake is filled with lemon mousse filling and topped with a chocolate glacage and textured coconut buttercream. For decoration, there are two pastel flowers and two patterned white chocolate pieces that serve as mouse ears! This dessert is available for $5.99 or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Tiger Cupcake
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is where the wild things are at Walt Disney World, so it only makes sense that they would offer a treat inspired by a striped jungle cat! The Tiger Cupcake is an orange flavored cupcake, featuring adorable marbled brown stripes throughout the cake. The cupcake is topped with creamy white buttercream, chocolate whiskers, edible pearls, and two orange white chocolate ears! This treat can be found at Creature Comforts or Restaurantosaurus for $5.99 or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Tinkerbell Cupcake
With a little faith, trust, and pixie dust this dessert can be yours! Based on our favorite pixie, the Tinkerbell cupcake is both sweet and sassy. This chocolate cake cupcake is filled with key lime filling and topped with bright green key lime buttercream, white chocolate pixie wings, edible white pearls, and a touch of yellow buttercream. The Tinkerbell Cupcake can be found at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort until May!
