The Ultimate Guide To Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Topiaries This Year

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is here and guests can celebrate for even longer this year! The festival is on from now until July 5, 2021, so there’s plenty of time to take in the food and fun. One of the best things about Flower & Garden Festival is the array of topiaries across Future World and World Showcase. Today I’m sharing the ultimate guide to topiaries for the 2021 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival!

World Showcase

As you make your way around all thirteen countries, you’ll spot some of your favorite characters and other topiaries themed to each country.

Panchito, Jose, & Donald – Mexico Pavilion

The Mexico pavilion is where you’ll find the Three Caballeros — Panchito, Jose, and Donald! These three feathered friends are also the stars of the pavilion’s attraction, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. They’re usually near the food booths on your way into the pavilion. Don’t forget to snap a pic with your margarita or other Mexico pavilion festival favorites!

Elsa & Anna and Troll – Norway Pavilion

Norway features two different sets of topiaries to keep an eye out for. You can find your favorite Frozen sisters, Elsa and Anna near the Winter Sommerhaus. As you make your way further into the pavilion, you’ll find a troll topiary — perfect for Norway! It reminds me of the giant wooden troll inside the shop as you exit Frozen Ever After. It also serves as a great tribute to the pavilion’s previous attraction Maelstrom.

Pandas & China Zodiac Topiary Garden – China Pavilion

You’ll find playful panda topiaries displayed as you walk through the China pavilion. There’s also a China Zodiac Topiary Garden that’s full of different colors and textures. I’m most excited about checking this one out when I visit is May!

Snow White & Dopey – Germany Pavilion

Keep an eye out for both Snow White & Dopey frolicking in some flowers when you’re passing through the Germany Pavilion.  In past Flower & Garden Festivals, they would display topiaries for all seven dwarves, but this year it’s just Snow White & Dopey!

Lady and the Tramp – Italy Pavilion

Catch your favorite doggie duo in the Italy pavilion, probably enjoying some of Tony’s Spaghetti. Lady And The Tramp was one of my favorite Disney movies as a kid, so finding this topiary set is always a must for me during festival season! This year, it’s located by the gondola in the water across from the main area of the Italy pavilion.

Dragon – Japan Pavilion

This fun and colorful dragon topiary is located at the front of the Torii Gate in the Japan pavilion. He’s positioned with World Showcase Lagoon right behind him — looking fierce!

Beauty and the Beast & Remy – France Pavilion

With the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure later this year, it’s no surprise that everyone’s favorite Little Chef is on display for Flower & Garden Festival this year! Another festival favorite topiary can be found in the France Pavilion — Beauty and the Beast. They are always located right in the main flower bed in front of Impressions de France, which is now also home to Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along!

Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh & Friends – United Kingdom Pavilion

Tinker Bell Topiary at Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

The United Kingdom Pavilion has quite a few Disney-inspired topiaries on display this year! From the Disney classic Peter Pan, you can spot Peter and Captain Hook battling it out, and Tinker Bell and her fairy houses aren’t too far away. Next, you’ve got Winnie the Pooh, Rabbit, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger in front of the United Kingdom shops on the way to the restrooms.

Kermit the Frog & Miss Piggy – Between the United Kingdom & Canada Pavilions

Another favorite festival topiary of mine is Kermit the Frog! In the past, he’s been found near the France pavilion and other areas of EPCOT, but his year he and Miss Piggy can be found between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions. Stop and grab a photo with them and then keep movin’ right along!

Showcase Plaza & Between EPCOT’s Two Worlds

As you cross between Future World and World Showcase, you’ll spot even more classic Disney favorites as beautiful and colorful topiaries. Check out this list below to see who you can expect to see!

Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey, & Louie – Showcase Plaza

Whether you choose to head through World Showcase starting to the left or to the right, you can expect to see your favorite Disney ducks at the front of it all in Showcase Plaza. Donald and Daisy are front and center, with Donald’s three nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie behind them! Pro Tip: Keep an eye out for Spike the Bee in this area too.

Epcot Festival Topiaries

Chip & Dale and Pluto – Between Future World & World Showcase

If you’re heading from World Showcase to Future World, you’ll spot Chip, Dale, and Pluto along the way.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, & Goofy – Between Future World & World Showcase

Right after you pass up Pluto, Chip, and Dale, you’ll find some more members of the Sensational Six — Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy! They’ve got paintbrushes and paint buckets, so it’s safe to say they’ve been working to get EPCOT ready for the festival season.

Future World

Whether you travel East or West first, you’ll be spotting topiaries the whole way! Future World is chock full of some of your favorite Disney & Pixar characters, and even some topiaries themed after EPCOT’s own characters.

Figment – Future World West

Right outside of his very own attraction, you’ll find Figment! He’s leading the way to the Imagination pavilion, and he’s sure to cause at least one little spark of excitement for those who love this original EPCOT character.

Woody, Bo Peep, and Billy, Goat, & Gruff – Future World West

Spot favorites from Toy Story near the Land pavilion! Woody and Bo Peep are with her sheep, Billy, Goat, and Gruff. I know you’re probably wondering — where’s Buzz? We’ll get there!

Simba, Rafiki, Mufasa, and Sarabi – Future World West

You’ll feel like you’re watching the Lion King all over again when you see this next pack of topiaries. Rafiki is holding up Baby Simba with Mufasa and Sarabi by his side. This topiary set is usually found in World Showcase, so it’s exciting to see it make its way to Future World this year!

Buzz Lightyear – Future World East

Buzz Lightyear Mission Space

To Infinity and Beyond! Buzz Lightyear can be found right outside of Mission: SPACE in Future World East.

Bambi & Friends – Future World East

Bambi, Thumper, and Flower can be found frolicking in the flowers near Mouse Gear! I’m pumped to see them in a new area too since they’re usually somewhere by the Canada pavilion in years past.

Sorcerer Mickey, Brooms, Hippo, Mushroom, and Ostriches – Main Entrance

For the 2021 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, the main entrance theme is topiaries from Fantasia! Even before you scan into the gates, you’re greeted with Mushroom topiaries. Once inside you’ll pass Sorcerer Mickey and his enchanted brooms, then a dancing hippo, and some colorful ostriches. This is a great area to grab a topiary picture with Spaceship Earth, so don’t miss your chance.

Epcot Tigger topiary

As you can see, Flower & Garden Festival means business when it comes to topiary displays around EPCOT. While many of these topiaries are displayed year after year, it’s always fun to see how they’ve been updated and which additional topiaries join the lineup.

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is going on at Walt Disney World right now! The festival comes to an end on July 5, 2021, so don’t miss your chance to try all of the fresh, festival offerings this season.
