A Stay At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

It’s become a mission of mine to stay at every Disney Resort Hotel, and on my most recent trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth I got to check Disney’s Art of Animation Resort off of the list. I’ve visited this resort plenty of times in the past! It features larger-than-life Disney details inspired by some of your favorite films, which makes for some great photo spots.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offers standard hotel rooms themed to The Little Mermaid and family suites themed to The Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo. My friends and I were able to stay in a Cars themed family suite while we participated in the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend, and we loved it!

The Cars Family Suites can sleep up to six adults comfortably. With a queen bed room, a pull down double-size table bed, and a double-size sleeper sofa, everyone can sleep all through the night after a long Disney day.

Family suites also feature a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, two full bathrooms, and plenty of seating and storage.

As usual, Disney doesn’t skimp on the details! Our suite featured cone-themed lamps, framed art from the Cars films, and other subtle automotive touches. We felt like we had just checked into the Cozy Cone!

Our room was on the first floor, which made for some great views of the Cars themed area right outside of our window! We also weren’t far from the Cars pool.

Disney’s Art of Animation Family Suites also feature indoor hallways instead of outdoor entries into rooms, which is a huge perk for rainy or cold days!

While you’re staying at Disney’s Art of Animation, don’t be afraid to hop around to the other themed areas. Each movie has its own larger than life scenery, and the Finding Nemo area is home to the largest Resort Pool on property, the Big Blue Pool!

As if this resort wasn’t exciting enough, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort now offers a stop on the all-new Disney Skyliner! This extra method of travel can get you to and from Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and other nearby Disney Resort Hotels with ease. For transportation options for Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom, regular bus transportation is always available!
