Bachelorette Party Must Haves
Happy Wedding Wednesday! I got to spend my weekend on the beach in Destin, Florida for my best friend Hillary’s Bachelorette Party! After being a part of a few wedding parties and having a wedding of my own, I have come up with a list of must haves to make a bachelorette trip unforgettable!
Great Place To Stay
If you’re planning a bachelorette weekend out of town, try to find a fun and convenient place to stay! Whether it’s a homey beach house near the ocean or a resort that includes all the bells and whistles, you and your wedding party will love a comfortable and fun space. Another factor to take into consideration is sleeping arrangements. Get your bachelorette group together early so they can plan who they will be rooming with!
Fun Activities
When taking a bachelorette trip or any other vacation for that matter, treat it like a getaway from reality! Pick a destination with fun activities that you may not normally be able to experience. For my bachelorette trip we made a trip to the local malls and outlets to have some much needed retail therapy. On the bachelorette trip this weekend, we were able to take advantage of the spa services in our resort! I got my first massage and it was heavenly.
Party Merch
The biggest part of a bachelorette trip is celebrating the bride-to-be! What better way to do that than through fun bachelorette party essentials like a sash or a veil. To make the trip more fun for everyone, add personalized items like shirts for the trip, monogrammed cups, or sunglasses! Anything can be personalized these days and it will give everyone on the trip a special take away to remember the weekend by. For Hillary’s bachelorette, we all wore matching tanks and we definitely got some attention at the resort!
Enthusiastic Attitude
Whether you are the bride-to-be stressing over what’s left to do before the wedding or a bridesmaid who is just along for the vacation, it is a huge must have to bring a positive attitude! Wedding planning can get overwhelming, but you want to be in an enthusiastic mood once you’re on your bachelorette trip. If you’re a bridesmaid, try to focus your energy on what the bride wants to do!
Pro Tip: Create an itinerary of activities to do over the weekend that will correlate with the bride’s interests. Having a plan and some ideas will make it easier on the bride knowing that everyone is on board!
So whether you’re laying out on the beach, shopping till you drop, or wine tasting with your closest friends, this list of must haves will keep you on track to a perfect bachelorette party! Nothing beats an escape from reality for a few days.
Where is your dream bachelorette party destination?
