Beach Bound
While Disney parks will always be my favorite type of vacation, I think the beach is a close second for me. Growing up our family always went to Walt Disney World for vacations (which I LOVED), but since I started dating Nick I got to be a part of some summer beach trips to Destin too which is a fun change!
When I knew I’d be back to Destin this summer, I couldn’t help but put together a fun Ariel Disneybound for the beach! After all, The Little Mermaid was one of my favorite movies growing up. (And who doesn’t think of this movie when you’re at the beach, amiright?!)
What I love about this look is that it’s a simple nod to the most iconic mermaid around! My fun Mermaids crop tank by The Lost Bros made the perfect coverup for my high-waisted Mermaid bikini. (ONLY $19.99!) Bonus: I was totally at Cool Aunt Status with my Disney-loving nieces! (They wanted to spend their time with “Ariel” and I was living my best life!)
And what trip to the beach is complete without this little crab?! Since I couldn’t splurge and score this awesome Sebastian float (which is now on sale…go figure.), I settled for this sweet Sebastian Tsum Tsum! He was the perfect nod to the song that inspired this look — Under the Sea!
If you’re a Little Mermaid lover like me, you’ll definitely want to check out this awesome “Under The Sea” cover by my friends The Lost Bros! It will quickly become the soundtrack to your summer. As if amazing Disney covers weren’t enough, The Lost Bros are also known for their iconic Disney-inspired clothing! In addition to this Mermaid crop tank, you’re sure to find a design inspired by your favorite Disney character.
With more than half of July behind us, it seems that my favorite season is quickly coming to an end. Don’t mind me, I’ll just be listening to “Under the Sea” on repeat for the rest of the summer!
