Candy Corn Mickey Cupcakes

Boo To You! Halloween is almost here and my sweet tooth is already getting the best of me. I’ve been spending a lot of time on Pinterest searching for Disney Halloween Treats to make and cupcakes are always a good idea! The Disney parks are full of sweet treats and this time of year they have special spooktacular touches. This cupcake was inspired by some of the candy corn-themed treats you can find in the Disney parks!

  1. Create cupcake batter by following the directions on the cake mix box.
  2. Line your cupcake tins with the gold cupcake liners.
  3. Once the oven is preheated, fill the lined cupcake tins with batter and place them in the oven.

  5. While waiting for the cupcakes to cool, separate your mini Oreos, saving the cookies but removing the icing.
  6. Take this time to also dye some of the vanilla icing yellow and orange for the candy corn decorating!
  7. Once your cupcakes are cooled, pipe the yellow icing onto the cupcakes.
  8. Add slightly more orange icing as you pipe it onto each cupcake.
  9. To finish off your candy corn cupcakes, top each icing pile off with some white icing.
  10. Last but not least, grab two mini Oreo cookie halves and place them on each side of the candy corn!
  11. Eat and enjoy!
