Candy Corn Mickey Cupcakes
Boo To You! Halloween is almost here and my sweet tooth is already getting the best of me. I’ve been spending a lot of time on Pinterest searching for Disney Halloween Treats to make and cupcakes are always a good idea! The Disney parks are full of sweet treats and this time of year they have special spooktacular touches. This cupcake was inspired by some of the candy corn-themed treats you can find in the Disney parks!
- Mini Oreos
- Vanilla Icing
- Orange Food Coloring
- Yellow Food Coloring
- One Box of Yellow Cake Mix
- Required Ingredients of Cake Mix
- Gold Cupcake Liners
- Create cupcake batter by following the directions on the cake mix box.
- Line your cupcake tins with the gold cupcake liners.
- Once the oven is preheated, fill the lined cupcake tins with batter and place them in the oven.
- After they are baked, removed the cupcakes from the oven and let them sit until cooled.
- While waiting for the cupcakes to cool, separate your mini Oreos, saving the cookies but removing the icing.
- Take this time to also dye some of the vanilla icing yellow and orange for the candy corn decorating!
- Once your cupcakes are cooled, pipe the yellow icing onto the cupcakes.
- Add slightly more orange icing as you pipe it onto each cupcake.
- To finish off your candy corn cupcakes, top each icing pile off with some white icing.
- Last but not least, grab two mini Oreo cookie halves and place them on each side of the candy corn!
- Eat and enjoy!
