Cotton Candy Couture

Life is short, make it sweet!

When it comes to photo shoots, location is everything. Is it really a Disney Parks photo shoot without a few magical locations?  During planning for this shoot I knew I would hit the basics like Cinderella’s Castle and Fantasyland, but I had a some other fun places in mind as well! Main Street USA was a must, but which shops would I take photos in? I stood back and pictured myself walking right down the middle of Main Street USA, and I ended up popping into the Main Street Confectionery for a sweet treat on the way to the castle!

For such a perfect photo location, I needed an outfit that went right along with it. I was feeling cotton candy vibes when I found this light pink tulle midi skirt and immediately thought of the Main Street Confectionery! I paired my tulle skirt with a pale blue Oxford from Ralph Lauren and champagne shimmery pumps from Vince Camuto. These shoes were actually my wedding shoes, so I loved having a chance to wear them again!

In the Main Street Confectionery, there are tons of sweet treats to add for photo fun. I went with a classic lollipop, but the possibilities are endless!

When you visit, be sure to take a look around! Like all things Disney, this sweet shop has lots of character. You’ll find magical touches and of course some amazing smells!

We all have our favorite Walls of Disney, but I think the Candy Stripe Wall would have to be my favorite! The colors are so pale and dreamy. I love that my outfit matched perfectly! I couldn’t have asked more out of this location.

This photo shoot was definitely a sweet escape! My hubby may or may not have grabbed a few treats for us on our way out. Looking back at these photos is making me wish I was back in Magic Kingdom now! What’s your favorite treat in the Disney Parks?
