Disney Eats: Crystal Palace

You don’t have to travel all the way to the Hundred-Acre Wood to visit your favorite bear and his friends! With the recent release of the new Christopher Robin movie, I thought it would be the perfect time to talk about one of my favorite buffets at Walt Disney World.

Being a life-long Disney kid myself, I’ve quite a few breakfasts, lunches, and dinners at this fun little buffet. Whether its my first or fortieth visit, I always get the same fuzzy feeling! Between the beautiful Victorian theming and architecture and the warm and friendly service, Crystal Palace will always be a happy place to me.

Crystal Palace is a buffet restaurant located right on Main Street U.S.A. Serving up a “Buffet With Character” for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily! Breakfast starts at 8 AM and is available until 10:45 AM. Lunch begins promptly at 11:30 AM until 2:45 PM. Dinnertime at Crystal Palace starts at 3:15 PM and dinner reservations run until 9:00 PM. You can check out their full menu here!

Character meals are always a great idea! You get the chance to visit with some of your Disney favorites who come right to your table, all while eating some yummy food. What could be better?

A Pooh-rade of course! Every twenty minutes or so Winnie the Pooh and his friends parade around the dining room for their Friendship Day Celebration and you are welcome to be a part of it. It’s a great way for the kids to get a little extra time with their favorites from the Hundred-Acre Wood too!

Got a grumbly in your tumbly? Pooh and his friends have got you covered. The food, it’s “all-you-care-to-enjoy” so grab as many plates as you’d like! I’ve always loved buffets because they allow you to try a little bit of everything and go back to seconds on your favorites.

There’s something for everyone on the menu, including the kids! I’ve always loved that there are even buffet stations right at a child’s height so they can enjoy the fun of picking their meal out themselves. Just send them over to Pooh’s Corner to find some of their breakfast favorites, including the always delicious Mickey Waffles!

Ready to bounce? Just finish up your meal, pay, and get ready to play. You’re right on Main Street U.S.A., in the middle of all the excitement on Magic Kingdom! Doesn’t get much better than that.

Pro Tip: Looking to make the most of your Magic Kingdom day? An early reservation at Crystal Palace for breakfast may be your ticket in! Daily reservations start at 8 AM, but most days of the week Magic Kingdom doesn’t open until 9 AM. This means you could be enjoying your meal inside the park before the crowds come for the day! You may even finish your meal in time to take advantage of Rope Drop. (Learn all about Rope Drop here!)

As you can see, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner Crystal Palace may be the perfect meal for your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! You really can’t beat such a cute “Buffet with Character”!
