My December Goals
Well, another month has come and gone! It’s hard to believe that 2016 is almost over. To try and make the most of these last 31 days of the year, I’m starting off the month of December with a few goals to achieve!
1. Decorate Our House For Christmas
This goal is a big one for me because it’s our first Christmas in our first home! Nick and I plan to go pick out our tree this weekend and hopefully start decorating around the house. I’m excited to see how everything turns out when we’re done!
2. Order Christmas Cards
A few years ago Nick & I did a Christmas card and it was a hit! Now that we have Roux, we are planning to continue our Christmas card tradition as the newly-married Killebrew family. We are still putting together our outfits, but we got Roux her little Christmas sweater and it is adorable!
3. Blog Consistently All Month
Since I’ve only recently started blogging, it’s been a challenge for me to stay with a consistent with my posts. Although it has gotten better each month, I’m hoping December will be my best month yet! I’m hoping to post at least twice a week all month.
4. Read A Book
I’ve never really been a big reader, but I always love learning new things. I’d like to hold myself to reading at least on book this month, so any suggestions are welcome!
5. Give Thanks More
It’s so easy to get caught up in the stress of day-to-day life and forget to give thanks. In this year alone Nick and I have been given so many blessings and opportunities. I feel that now more than ever I should be reflecting on what I’m thankful for in 2016.
So far December is off to a great start! I’ve already made our Christmas wreath for our front door and Nick and I plan to decorate all weekend! It’s sweet how excited Nick is to start all these new holiday traditions, so I can’t help but get in the holiday spirit!
What are some things you’re planning to do before the end of 2016?

December 2, 2016 at 3:55 amGreat December goals. I’m sure your Christmas card will be a hit again. Also for this month, I’m reading “Outlander” and it’s pretty good so far. Nothing like a fantasy novel while tucked in bed or wrapped with a blanket on the couch. Good luck with the goals and I’m sure you’ll manage to do all these.

December 2, 2016 at 10:16 amFirst things first – that wreathe is super cute. Then; fab goals, especially giving more thanks. We should all be more aware of the good in our lives and concentrate on the positive rather than let the negative drag us down 🙂

December 2, 2016 at 10:52 amAgreeing with the comment above, one of my goals is also being more grateful. This last month I have so many things to do I don’t think I’ll have time for so much christmas feeling! Moving from Lisbon to my home in Spain and then moving back to Norway everything before new year’s eve… I hope I can get in the mood for the festivities despite all of this.
Hugs from Lisbon!

December 6, 2016 at 6:58 pmI love reading other blogger’s goals! And I’ve been blogging for 2+ years and still find it hard to blog consistently sometimes! I’ve found it’s better to have quality over quantity, so if you can only commit to once a week with a good post, it’s better than a few mediocre posts!

December 7, 2016 at 3:11 pmThis wreath is so cute and looks totally doable! Maybe I’ll steal this idea for my apartment! I love reading your goals and I definitely share the same ‘blog more’ goal with you! I just started blogging seriously this year after having a hobby blog for a few years and I’m falling in love with it!
