The Ultimate Guide To Dining at the Disneyland Resort Reopening
Have you heard the news? Disneyland Resort reopens once again on April 30! At the beginning of the month we covered purchasing tickets, making theme park reservations, and what attractions will be open for reopening day. In addition to the sights, sounds, and smells of the Happiest Place on Earth, I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that the guests are looking forward to the food.
Unless you attended A Touch of Disney over the past few weeks, it’s been quite awhile since any of us have had our Disneyland Resort favorites! Disney Parks Blog released a full list of restaurants that will be open April 30, 2021 along with Disneyland Resort. To make sure you’re ready to chow down on churros and more, I’m sharing their list and some tips to help planning go much smoother.
Disneyland Mobile App
When heading back to the Happiest Place on Earth, you need to make sure you’ve got the Disneyland Mobile App downloaded on your phone. Download it from the App Store on Google Play here! The Disneyland Mobile App is great for navigating the parks and checking wait times, but now it’s your go-to for all things food. With just a few clicks you can mobile order from you favorite restaurants, check dining availability for table service, and don’t forget about contactless payment! Table service locations will also offer mobile check-in and mobile wait-list features through the Disneyland Mobile App, too.
How To Mobile Order on the Disneyland App
- Launch the Disneyland App on your phone.
- Click the “+” button at the bottom center of the app.
- Select the “Order Food” next.
- Choose your “Arrival Window” or Mobile Order Location from the list.
- Click “Order Food” again.
- Select your time to pick up your order and what items and quanities you’re planning to eat.
- Review your order details and select which payment method you’d like to use: Credit Car, Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards Redemption Card, Apple Pay, etc.
- Press the “I’m Here” button when you’ve made it to your arrival window so a Cast Member can get your order to you.
Dining Reservations at Disneyland Resort
Speaking of dining reservations, starting Thursday, April 22, 2021 guests can start booking these once again. Dining reservations are available with limited capacity, but can be reserved up to 60 days in advance. You can visit Disneyland.com or use the Disneyland App to check availability. If you’re considering dining reservations at Disneyland Resort, you’ll want to know about Mobile Check-In and Mobile Dine Walk-Up List services on the Disneyland App!
Mobile Check-In allows guests to make the most of their time in the parks. You can let the servers know you’re checking in for your reservation while you walk from attractions — all while minimizing contact with others! Mobile Dine Walk-Up List is designed for guests who don’t have a dining reservation, but may want to now that they’re there. Mobile Dine Walk-Up gives you the opportunity to add your group to the list in case there’s an opening! This feature is subject to availabilty, but who knows? You may find yourself with a surprise reservation.
