New Disney MagicMobile Service Coming To Walt Disney World
The exciting news just keeps rolling in this week at Walt Disney World resort! An innovative new way to access theme park entry without a MagicBand is set to roll out later this year. This new program is called the Disney MagicMobile Service, and it’s about to change the way guests experience the Most Magical Place on Earth.
For years, the MagicBand has been a Walt Disney World vacation staple. For theme park entry, PhotoPass services, FastPass+, and even payments for shopping and dining — MagicBand was on your wrist and ready for anything! What if you could take advantage of these Disney vacation features all from you iPhone, Apple Watch, or other smart device?
Disney MagicMobile Service
Disney MagicMobile Service will allow guests to enter their favorite Walt Disney World parks with only their iPhone, Apple Watch, or other smart device. If you love the existing digital room key feature on the My Disney Experience app, this new service will fit perfectly into your vacation!
Later this year, guests will have the opportunity to create their Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app. This pass will be stored within their smart device’s digital wallet, so it’s always easy to access! This is only the first announcement of this new service, so I’m excited to see what details will continue to roll out before its launch.

What About MagicBands?
If you prefer rocking your favorite MagicBand on park days, you’re in luck. MagicBands are here to stay, and Disney even hinted about new colors, designs, and characters coming soon! Disney MagicMobile won’t be replacing MagicBands, but instead enhancing accessibility options for guests. With both options available, guests can choose MagicBand, MagicMobile, or both services to alternate throughout their trip.
