Disneyland Hotel Announces Reopening Date

Another Disneyland Resort Hotel is reopening this summer, and it’s one of my favorites! The Disneyland Hotel is a star in its own right. From the monorail slides at the pool to the themed rooms and location, it’s a hotel that should be on everyone’s bucket list! Nick and I stayed here in 2019 for a night and we loved it. You can read about that experience here!

Yesterday Disney Parks Blog announced that the Disneyland Hotel will be reopening July 2, 2021, and reservations can be made starting today. During the closure, the hotel rooms were refreshed and updated. The carpet in the guest rooms features a new fireworks pattern, and the beds have been upgraded to platform beds to maximize storage. Even the corridor flooring features some new magical touches. Inspired by the art of Mary Blair, this flooring contains graphic elements recalling the park lands that each tower is named for.

The Disneyland Hotel features stunning grounds including a pool with Monorail waterslides, Mickey and Minnie whirlpools, and a pool bar. When it comes to food, the Disneyland Hotel has a few options to choose from. Guests can make a date at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, the Coffee House, or Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill. Both Tangaroa Terrace and the Coffee House have mobile ordering available through the Disneyland App.

Guests can also enjoy food from select restaurants located in Downtown Disney District, thanks to delivery services! Disneyland Hotel guests can scan the QR codes on their in-room TV to access the restaurant delivery pages. From there, food and drink orders will be delivered to your Disneyland Resort hotel lobby.

So if you’re planning your trip back to Disneyland Resort, keep the Disneyland Hotel in mind for your hotel stay! Nick and I loved staying here, and I know when we make it back we’re going to have to spend at least one night at this fun, themed hotel.
