Disneyland Resort Reopens To Out-of-State Guests This Summer

Disneyland Resort reopened to California residents almost a month ago on April 30, 2021. Guests have been making countless memories in the parks since its reopening, and now Disney Parks Blog is sharing more exciting news. The Happiest Place on Earth is ready to welcome back out-of-state guests starting June 15, 2021!

Between the opening of Avengers Campus on June 4, 2021, and the reopening of Disneyland Resort hotels Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and Disneyland Hotel, this is an exciting summer for Disneyland Resort.

Today Disney Parks Blog announced that starting June 15, 2021, Disneyland Resort will be able to welcome guests outside the state of California again! Although they can’t enter the gates until June 15, out-of-state guests can start booking their return to Disneyland now on Disneyland.com. For now, all guests visiting Disneyland Resort must be California residents visiting in groups no larger than three households.*

Guests will be required to wear an approved face covering while visiting Disneyland Resort. The State of California also strongly recommends that all guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure.

For now, these are the procedures in place for Disneyland Resort. To keep updated on changes, visit Disneyland.com/Updates for the latest scoop. Disneyland Resort has been making reopening announcements every week, so it’s important to stay in the know when it comes to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Remember: All guests, ages 3 and up, need to have both a ticket and theme park reservation for the same theme park on the same date. Disneyland Resort has recently announced a new way for guests to make park reservations and purchase theme park tickets at the same time. You can read about that here.

In other news, guests can now enjoy an expanded theme park reservations window. Starting today, the booking window for theme park reservations has opened up to 120 days! This change will make planning a Disneyland vacation even easier for guests. Curious about currently availability? Check out the Theme Park Reservation Calendar for Disneyland Resort here!

The Disneyland Resort updates just keep coming, so check back for the latest updates on the Happiest Place on Earth. I’m excited to starting planning my trip to California real soon!
