Six Disneyland Resort Restaurant Reopenings Happening This Month

The reopening excitement continues at Disneyland Resort, and this time it’s about food! Before the initial reopening, I shared a complete guide to dining at Disneyland Resort. (You can check that post out here!) Now I’m back to share six new restaurants that Disney Parks Blog announced reopening dates for this month. I don’t know about y’all, but it feels great for me to see Disneyland continuing to roll out offerings since its reopening date in April!

Paradise Garden Grill

Paradise Garden Grill is located at Disney California Adventure Park and reopens later this week on May 13, 2021. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 11:30 to 9:00 PM, this restaurant is a great option for mobile ordering in Disney California Adventure! From street tacos and Impossible cheeseburger mac and cheese to pepperoni pizza egg rolls, the Paradise Garden Grill offers adventurous options in the $14.99 and under price range. View their Lunch and Dinner Menu here!

Alfresco Tasting Terrace

This Pacific Wharf offering in Disney California Adventure Park is for Legacy Passholder only! Starting on May 20, 2021, Legacy Passholders and their guests can make online reservations for lunch and dinner from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM daily. Guests can enjoy appetizer options, signature cocktails, wine, beer, and more. The lunch and dinner menus are virtually identical and fall in the $15 to $34.99 per adult price range. View their Lunch and Dinner Menu here!

Blue Bayou Restaurant

This next restaurant reopening is a pretty exciting one for Disneyland! Located in New Orleans Square, Blue Bayou Restaurant is a must-do for those looking for a unique Disneyland dining experience. Nick and I ate here on our honeymoon and we loved the ambiance and being so close to Pirates of the Caribbean!

Blue Bayou Restaurant reopens May 27, 2021 with online reservations available starting May 18, 2021. This restaurant will be open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM for lunch and dinner, with pricing in the $35 to $59.99 per adult range. Try Louisiana-inspired dishes like Jambalaya, Gumbo, and Monte Cristo while watching the Pirates of the Caribbean boats float by!

One of the most exciting things about the Blue Bayou Restaurant reopening is the addition of alcoholic beverages to the menu. Guests can order wine and other alcoholic beverages including Abita Amber from Covington, Louisiana, and a Hurricane Cocktail inspired by the famous New Orleans drink! View their Lunch and Dinner Menu here.

Napa Rose

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa reopened in April with Disneyland Resort, so it was only a matter of time before its dining options made a return, too! I’ve shared my love of Napa Rose before when I shared by Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa experience, but let me just say if you love wine this place is a must. Starting May 28, 2021, Napa Rose will reopen to guests for dining reservations — dinner only. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa guests can start booking reservations to Napa Rose on May 18, 2021.

Napa Rose’s menu features starters and seconds, followed by delicious main course options, and desserts of course! The menu falls in the $35 to $59.99 per adult pricing, and Napa Rose is open daily for dinner from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. View their Dinner Menu here!

Storytellers Cafe

Another Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa restaurant that will be reopening later this month is Storytellers Cafe. Reopening on May 28, 2021, this restaurant will have reservations available daily for breakfast and dinner — no characters. Guests can begin booking advanced reservations for Storytellers Cafe on May 18, 2021.

Storyteller’s Cafe features a three-course meal for guests for breakfast and dinner, which includes your choice of main entree! Although there are no character interactions at this time, Storytellers Cafe is a great dining option for guests of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. View their Breakfast and Dinner Menu here!

GCH Craftsman Bar

Looking for poolside dining and drinks while staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa? GCH Craftsman Bar has you covered! Starting May 28, 2021, GCH Craftsman Bar will be accepting online reservations. Their menu features an array of options including artisanal pizzas, Maine lobster quesadillas, and avocado toast. For drink options, guests 21 and older can choose from specialty cocktails, bottled and draft beers, and an extensive wine list. View their Lunch and Dinner Menu here!
