Downtown With Dooney
Don’t you just love when you find a piece that you can use forever? That’s how I feel about this Dooney & Bourke and Disney purse! In early 2011, we were planning our annual Disney trip and these patterns had recently come out.
Paris and I knew we had to get our hands on one! The best part was, they came in an array of colors including blue, yellow, pink, green, and purple, so we could each have our own unique park look. I went for the blue because it reminded me of Cinderella and her castle in Magic Kingdom.
I loved all of the perfect little Disney symbols all over the pattern. The crossbody strap is lined in a coordinating blue color and the zipper is rainbow like many of the earlier Dooney & Bourke designs. There’s just something about adding a little Disney magic to an everyday look.
I paired this bag with a melon high neck tank and some white capris. I love that the color of my wedges coordinate with the lining of the bag as well.
I’m always looking for fun ways to add Disney to my style, so I love that I can still bring this purse out every once in awhile to spice up an outfit!
Disney and Dooney & Bourke have continued to add new bag styles and Disney prints to their exclusive collaboration line. I love shopping for my next Disney bag in the shops each time I visit the parks. I’m so happy that this partnership has continued to flourish because I know I’ll be buying these magical accessories for years to come!
Here are a few designs that I currently have my eye on. Hoping to get my hands on them someday! (That’s what birthdays + Christmas are for right?!)

I think they are SO cute and I imagine wearing them around the parks, but I never buy because I feel like I wouldn’t want to use them on a daily basis-and it’s kinda pricey to buy for something you’ll use occasionally. I hadn’t seen the Tiana one you linked to, I love that lime green piping on the strap!
