Five Tricky Hidden Mickeys to Hunt on Your Next Disney Visit
Hidden Mickeys can be found all over Walt Disney World. With so many to be found, it can make for a fun Disney experience to hunt them down along the way. Here are a few unique Mickeys that you won’t want to miss.
Very Mickey Christmas
Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is a classic attraction that you won’t want to miss when you’re in Magic Kingdom. Between the four show scenes, you’ll be able to spot a few Hidden Mickeys, but one of the most creative can be found in the final Christmas scene. During the scene, peek on top of the mantle and you’ll notice a few nutcrackers lined up. One nutcracker is not like the rest, and is in fact a Hidden Mickey! A few more Mickeys can be found in this scene, so be sure to take in all the Christmas details.
Homegrown Hidden Mickey
Living with the Land, located in the Land Pavilion at Epcot, is an attraction like no other. Guests get a behind-the-scenes look into Disney’s agricultural projects on a boat ride through their many greenhouses. This attraction is another place to find some pretty unique Hidden Mickeys. Disney was able to add the main mouse into quite a few places throughout the greenhouses. From giant Mickey-shaped topiaries to Mickey-shaped pumpkins, there are plenty to hunt while on the ride.
Mickey Among The Clouds
Toy Story Land is still fairly new, but Disney was sure to add a few hidden surprises in the details of this land. While waiting in line for Slinky Dog Dash, guests will notice many details, one of which is Andy’s sketches for the roller coaster attraction. These sketches span across three sheets of loose-leaf paper, and in the top right corner is where you can find a mouse among the clouds. Little hidden details like these make it fun to investigate every aspect of park theming.
Fichwa Fellow
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has plenty of Hidden Mickeys to be found, but one that’s located in Harambe Market is more clever than most! On one of the walls in the Harambe Market, guests will find a full Mickey Mouse painted on the wall with the phrase “Fichwa! Fellow” below. While most assume the waving mouse must be saying hello, searching the meaning of the word “Fichwa” reveals more! The term “Fichwa” is Swahili for “Hidden.” Therefore, you’ve found yourself a not-so-hidden Hidden Mickey.
Mousin’ Around The World
Soarin’ is one of the top attractions at Epcot, with its unique ride experience. Its latest version, Soarin’ Around The World, features a few Hidden Mickeys throughout the scenes. From the alignment of the hot air balloons in the Monument Valley scene, to the nighttime fireworks over Spaceship Earth at the very end, you’ll spot that iconic Hidden Mickey shape in a few ways on this attraction!
Walt Disney World is full of little details, and some just happen to Mickey-shaped. With over 1,200 Hidden Mickeys to find throughout the property, and more added all the time, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for an extra mouse or two along the way.
