As the holiday season is coming to an end, it’s time to start thinking about plans for New Year’s Eve! This time of the year is one of the busiest for the Walt Disney Worldresort, but that’s mostly because of all the unique fun to be had during December. If you’ll be ringing in the New Year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, here are five ways to welcome 2019.

Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World’s first theme park is sure to come to mind when you’re thinking about magical celebrations! Since Magic Kingdom is the most popular park, you can expect some of the biggest crowds here on New Year’s Eve. So if you’re planning to ring in 2019 on Main Street U.S.A., you’ll want to arrive to Magic Kingdom early, and plan to stay all day, since the park is known to reach capacity. Magic Kingdom’s New Year’s Eve celebration includes the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks, as well as Holiday Wishes. Both fireworks shows will happen on Dec. 30 and 31; so if you still want to see the show, but have other plans for New Year’s Eve, you can make both happen.

Epcot

Epcot is the place to be for fun on New Year’s Eve! From the New Year’s Countdown Fireworks to strolling through the various parties of World Showcase, there’s no better way to ring in the new year than at Walt Disney World. DJs will be getting the party started at the American Gardens Theater and the Future World Fountain Stage. Guests can venture through all 11 pavilions of the World Showcase while enjoying fun party spots in between! Fill up on your favorite sips and bites from around the globe as you wait for the New Year’s Countdown Fireworks show to begin at 11:40 p.m.

Disney Springs

While not all the New Year’s Eve activities at Disney’s shopping and dining district have been announced yet, there will be a one-year anniversary party taking place at The Edison. This extraordinary gala will feature delicious food, top-notch entertainment and a special New Year’s toast. This celebration is for guests 21 and older and tickets are $150. The doors will open at 7:30 p.m. with an array of hor d’oeuvres, live action food stations, and your fill of premium wine, beer and cocktails!

Pixar Party

Disney’s Contemporary Resort is offering a new way to enjoy family fun this New Year’s Eve with their Pixar Party: A New Year’s Eve Celebration. This extraordinary night in at the Contemporary Convention Center includes Pixar character meet and greets, Pixar-inspired balloon animals and face painting, and even Boot Camp with Sarge! This party will also include a delicious buffet that is full of character. The highlight of the evening will be watching Magic Kingdom’s famous New Year’s Eve fireworks from a view you can only get at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Check in begins at 7:30 p.m. with the party lasting from 8 p.m. until midnight. Tickets are available for $190 per guest.

Atlantic Dance Hall

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is known for its picturesque boardwalk and convenient location between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests planning to spend some time here for New Year’s Eve will be happy to know that the Atlantic Dance Hall will be hosting their own New Year’s Eve Bash this year! The Atlantic Dance Hall invites those who are 21 and older to dance the night away into the New Year. This location includes stunning views of the Epcot fireworks show, party hats and horns, a delicious “light-bite” menu and two beverage vouchers and a champagne toast at midnight! The party starts at 8 p.m. and will run all the way until 2 a.m. For $75 per guest, you can groove into 2019 with an unforgettable night at the Atlantic Dance Hall!
