Four New Fall Treats To Try at Walt Disney World
Pumpkin Ice Cream
If you love all things pumpkin, head on over to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. The ice cream parlor’s featured flavor is Pumpkin, which is available in a cup, cone, sundae and even a Mickey sink. This flavor comes at the perfect time, as we finish out the spooky season this month. Looking for something else to satisfy your sweet tooth on Main Street? The Plaza Restaurant has extended their September Shake of the Month, the Un-Birthday Shake, into October. With the unlimited milkshakes option, be sure to grab one before they’re all gone!
Apple Cider Donut Holes
There’s a new must-try treat just in time for fall on Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Donut hole lovers will want to head to Isle of Java and try the all-new Apple Cider Donut Holes. For $4.99 or one snack credit, guests receive three freshly fried apple donut holes, rolled in cinnamon sugar and topped with an apple cider glaze. Be sure to take a walk on the wild side to discover this sweet new treat.
Purple Wall Cotton Candy
There’s one Magic Kingdom wall that is pretty inspirational in the Disney world. It’s a guests’ photo spot staple, has inspired Disney park merchandise, and even had a slush named after it! The Purple Wall in Tomorrowland has become a must-see for Magic Kingdom goers, and it’s the inspiration for the area’s newest galactic-themed treat: Purple Wall Cotton Candy. This berry-flavored cotton candy perfectly matches the insta-famous Disney wall, and is sold on a cart right near it. For $5, guests can have the perfect prop for Purple Wall photos while it’s available.
Pumpkin Cheesecake
At Disney’s All Star Resorts, guests can always find new and exciting desserts in the food courts. Autumn has fallen over the Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All Star Music Resort, and one of their many fall treat offerings is a delicious Pumpkin Cheesecake. This yummy cheesecake is topped with a chocolate ganache and a decadent pumpkin spice mousse. There are plenty other fall flavors to be found at the resort, including a White Chocolate Mousse Chocolate Cake decorated with a festive pumpkin, and a fun Caramel Apple Monster Cupcake.
As the end of October is growing near, we are still in the Halloween spirit thanks to these new Disney treats! Most goodies are only available for a limited time; so if you’re headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth this month, don’t forget to check out these four new treats.
