Hats Off To Harambe Market

Every inch of Walt Disney World is filled with magic. No detail goes without its own little story! Whether an intentional detail or an accident that became a part of this resort’s history, each little bit of theming holds a special place in my heart.

I’ve talked about this before, but Disney’s Animal Kingdom was the park that I visited the least growing up. Partially because it’s super hot there and partially because this was before Expedition Everest and Pandora even existed! Lately I’ve been changing my tune though and have found myself spending time in this park on almost every on of my recent trips.

One area that used to go unnoticed for me was the Harambe Market. Maybe it’s because my family was usually running to Dinosaur, but I honestly never really found myself on that side of the park. It’s amazing what details you’ll find at Disney if you just do a little exploring, amiright?

From the ultimate Hidden Mickey to the other picturesque scenes, it’s almost like the Imagineers know that Disney Instagrams were going to be a thing! I’m here for it though.

For me, no day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is complete without this cute Mickey Safari hat! I got it last year and it was one of my favorite park purchases yet. Pair it with this adorable tee from The Main Street Press and this is probably my favorite DAK OOTD ever!

Although this specific Main Street Press tee isn’t currently in stock, they do still offer their Jambo design and their Everest design — both perfect for a Disney’s Animal Kingdom day!

Next time you find yourself at Walt Disney World, I urge to to push past that feeling need to rush everywhere you go and simply sit back to take in the magic. Disney is more than just attractions — it’s the theming, the cast members, and all the little details in between.
