Hooray For Hollywood
One of my favorite places to visit in Hollywood Studios has always been the Great Movie Ride. There was always such fun in riding it again with a first timer. They never knew what to expect and it was so entertaining to watch their reactions!
Although this attraction closed back in August to make way for something new, the Chinese Theater area is still open to the public currently! I was so happy to see this because I’ve always loved walking around in this area when I visit the parks.
When it comes to any Disney trip for me, outfit planning is always involved. Of course I usually overpack (a girl has got to have options), but all of my looks remind me of some aspect of Disney. Outfits for Hollywood Studios can be challenging lately considering that there are only about four attractions currently still running, but if there is one building that makes a statement in this park, it’s the Great Movie Ride!
My obsession with patterns, particularly florals, paid off when it came to finding an outfit for this area! When I saw this top (similar look here) I immediately thought of the Great Movie Ride. The bold shade of red was almost identical to that of the replica of the Chinese Theater in Hollywood Studios.
I loved this top because it was a breathable material and the fact that it had such thin straps was perfect for the Florida heat!
When it comes to my Disney Park style comfort is key, but so is looking cute. That’s why you’ll usually find me in flowy tops like this when I’m park hopping around the resort! To finish off my usual Disney Park look, I grabbed some high-waisted jean shorts and some white sneakers.
I really loved seeing this look come to life once we got to Hollywood Studios on our bestie trip! The red went even better than I imagined and I loved getting to explore this area when it was not as crowded like it used to be while operating.
I’m so thankful that even though this attraction has gone, this giant beautiful landmark still stands! Even back in 1989 when Hollywood Studios (then MGM Studios, never forget) opened, this was your sight point walking into the park. No matter what change may still be in store for this park, whether it be attractions, restaurants, the park name (???), I hope that this icon will continue to be focus the as you walk down Hollywood Boulevard.
What’s Your Usual Disney Park Style?
