The summer season is almost gone, but until then I’m soaking up every little drop left! This summer was one for the books and when I think of the highlights, two fun adventures come to mind.
One took place in my happy place — Walt Disney World! I was lucky enough to experience Toy Story Land on opening day. While it was a crazy, hectic day, I wouldn’t change a thing. The “No Sleep Til Toy Story Land” strategy paid off and I was able to conquer everything the land had to offer in less time than most of the other grand opening participants! Great friendships were formed over brunch at Woody’s Lunchbox and the morning provided enough laughs to keep me smiling for years.
My other summer highlight took place only a week later in my other favorite part of the Sunshine State — Destin, Florida! As I’ve mentioned before, my family’s vacation of choice has always been Disney so spending time at the beach is always a really special thing for me. I loved spending a week with my family, especially those I don’t always get the see! My two nieces are my Disney girls and I love that we share this fun and magical bond even though we don’t get to see each other as often as I’d like. The “Cool Disney Aunt” is a title I aspire to hold someday!
Another fun thing about this beach getaway was adding some Disney into my beach and poolside style. From a mermaid-inspired look (a real hit with my nieces, by the way) to a pineapple princess, I had so much fun putting these Disney-inspired looks together.

My favorite part about the cooler is its Hidden Mickeys on the slice! This subtle Disney touch only becomes obvious after admiring it for a few minutes.

As the weather get cooler and the leaves begin to change, it’s apparent that fall is on its way! Although summer will always be my favorite season, I’m excited to see what fun moments fall and winter will bring in the year 2018.
