A Killebrew Christmas
It’s officially Christmas and all is merry! This Christmas we are starting some new traditions since we are in our own house this year! We started our morning as a family of three with breakfast and presents. Since it’s Roux’s first Christmas, Santa Paws has really stuffed her stocking! She loved all of her toys and already has a new favorite!
Another new tradition was our annual Christmas cards, which we sent out on Monday! This was our first chance to take some nice pictures as a family since we got Roux, so thanks again Lizzie! When it came time to pick a company to print our Christmas cards, we already knew who we would use! We chose to go through Minted.com because we loved their work for all of our wedding paper needs!
For our Christmas card we were between a few templates but in the end we chose the one that we thought worked best to represent us this holiday season. We liked the idea of more than one photo on the card and the bright colors!
One perk of using Minted is the free recipient addresses on the envelopes. Not only is that a huge time saver, but it adds a branded touch to any card or invitation. We also decided to splurge and go with the return address on the envelopes as well, and I’m so glad we did!
Whether you’re in the middle of wedding planning or just looking for a great invitation or card for the holiday, I highly suggest Minted! If you’re looking to save some money on your next order, feel free to use this link to get $25 off of an order of $100 or more. ย Every dollar counts right?
With less than a week left in the year, I’m thankful for all the blessings that I have to look back on from this past year. I’m very excited to see what 2017 has in store forย Kait Around The Kingdom!
So from our family to yours, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

December 27, 2016 at 2:11 pmShe looks so cute! I think it’s so nice to get your own place and to get to decide what you want to do and what traditions you want to create, so I’d say enjoy this time as much as you can! By the way, the cards look so sweet! I had thought of sending some cards but life got in the way and I ended up not doing it – will try again next year haha. Happy holidays!
