Laguna Beach: Things To See And Do

As most of you already know, Nick and I got married last May. For our honeymoon we decided to go to California! I’ve already talked a little bit about our time in Disneyland, but I haven’t talked about our first half of the honeymoon!
We started out our California honeymoon in Laguna Beach! We stayed at the Pacific Edge Hotel and sprung for a room with an ocean view.

We loved waking up to such a beautiful view everyday and the room service did not disappoint!

The great thing about visiting Laguna Beach was that there was a ton to do that was really close by!

Since we were in So Cal, we had to hit up the beach! To our surprise, the beaches on the west coast are a lot different from the south. Who can refuse the beach when it’s right outside your window?!

In Laguna, you can walk to visit most of the sites. I liked having the opportunity to take everything in from walking down the sidewalks versus riding in a car! I had a bit of a fan girl moment when I realized I would have the chance to visit Ocean Avenue! Yellowcard, where ya at?!

Good eats is another thing you can find through out Laguna Beach. Anyone who knows my husband knows he loves pizza! While it was fun to try new foods, it was reassuring to also have Pizza Bar close by when we needed a pizza fix!

Laguna Beach is known for its art and charm. Peppertree Lane is definitely a part of that charm! Between the surrounding shops and treats and the cutest lane ever, you’ll have to check it out if you’re in Laguna Beach!

Another great place to eat is located right by the Pacific Edge Hotel. The Orange Inn has great food options and breakfast was our favorite!

If you’re big into history like me, you’ll appreciate my last thing to do in Laguna Beach. Laguna is home to the second smallest Catholic Church in the world! It’s a 42-seat cathedral that is only 1008 square feet.

Initially Nick and I chose Laguna Beach for our honeymoon because it was in Southern California and it was close to Disneyland. Little did we know there would be lots to do nearby that would make for so many memories on our honeymoon! We really enjoyed visiting California and would love to make another trip back to Laguna Beach someday!

Congratulations! These views are gorgeous! Now I’m curious what makes a west coast beach different from a south coast beach…

Ok, first things first… your ring is stunning. Secondly Laguna Beach is really pretty and I also love that you don’t have to drive miles and miles to bet to a beach, many of them are accessible in the middle of the city.

I love Laguna Beach! I think that’s where they film “The Hills” (Lauren Conrad’sstomping ground). And I love your top- it’s got a “tropical honeymoon” vibe but you can wear it anywhere!
