Minnie, You’re So Classic
For almost 90 years now, Minnie Mouse has been a fashion icon in her own right. Inspiring trends like “Rock The Dots” and themed clothes and accessories alike! Not to mention, pretty much the biggest park accessory for any Disney girl: Mouse Ears!
During my Magic Kingdom shoot, I wanted to have an outfit that channeled this classic style. What makes this look even better is that this outfit is a perfect example of something I would normally wear around Walt Disney World because it’s stylish yet casual!
With the Florida heat, you’ll usually find me rocking shorts. Minnie ears are a must while in the parks, and I decided to Rock The Dots for this look! I finished the outfit off with a black and white striped top and some red canvas sneakers that went perfect with Minnie’s red bow!
This outfit made me feel like a kid again! Running around Magic Kingdom and getting a chance to visit some of my favorites is always a great idea. I had some dreams to make true for this shoot.
Who doesn’t want to take photos having the time of your life on the teacups?! The pastel colors and lots of lighting make for a beautiful photo spot!
What’s a day at Disney without a classic Disney snack?! My husband is addicted to Disney popcorn and had some for the shoot, so I had to snag a few bites from him for this outfit! I regret nothing.
Another must do for me was taking a ride on Prince Charming’s Carousel. It brought me back to the days of picking out the prettiest horse you could find, listening to that familiar tune, and reflecting on the fact that you’re in the Happiest Place on Earth. Not many feelings are better!
I had to pay a visit to my favorite land: Tomorrowland! I was sure to take a picture by the Carousel of Progress. This attraction is a must do for our family and my photo shoot wouldn’t have been complete without it!

Pro Tip: If you’re looking for a fun photo spot that often goes overlooked, check out the train station near Storybook Circus! Some of my favorite shots from this outfit were taken there and I couldn’t imagine this photo shoot without them!
Magic Kingdom was an amazing place to take lots of fun photos! Between my three outfits, I feel like I covered a lot of ground, but I’ll never have enough photos in my happy place! With an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World in less than two months, I’m starting to outfit plan again and I can’t wait to share even more Disney Style with you!
