The Perfect Disney Breakfast
We are officially one week out from DISNEY! How am I celebrating? With a yummy Disney breakfast of course!
Trying to battle my Disney withdrawals, I started looking for ideas of what recipe to make on Pinterest. I ran across this delicious recipe for Brioche French Toast from Chef Mickey by The Disney Chef and I just had to share it with y’all on Kait Around The Kingdom!
Chef Mickey is one of my favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World so I love the chance to try and make any tasty food from there. We have reservations there for dinner on our upcoming trip and I could not be more excited! Chef Mickey was my family’s go to restaurant for breakfast and dinner when I was kid so I’m ready to visit again for the first time in a few years!
- 3 Eggs
- ¾ Cup of Milk
- 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- ¼ Teaspoon of Cinnamon
- ¼ Cup of Sugar
- Sliced Brioche Bread
- Powdered Sugar (Optional)
- Wisk together eggs, vanilla, and milk in a large bowl.
- Add cinnamon and sugar to the mixture and put to the side.
- Heat and butter your frying pan on the stove.
- Dunk bread slices in the mixture and quickly place them in the pan.
- Cook each side until they are to your desired golden brown color and remove them from the pan
- Grab Mickey-shaped stencil and place on toast.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar to cover all surrounding areas and remove the stencil when done.
Since I am no artist, I ended up cutting out a little Mickey head stencil to create the powdered sugar Mickey effect. Who says all breakfast can’t involve the mouse? If you’re looking to add this Disney touch to your toast as well, no worries! I’ve got a downloadable stencil for you here.
Next time you’re looking to spice up your breakfast routine, add a little Mickey to your morning and try this mouthwatering recipe! I know I’ll be making this again next time I’m missing my happy place.

August 25, 2017 at 8:41 pmAs a little kid my parents used to always make French Toast on the weekends, and now it’s my go-to brunch on lazy weekends or if I come home late from work in the evening and the pantry is empty, so I have breakfast-for-dinner ha! Mmmmm it’s so good!
