Pineapple Paradise
I’m on the look out for adventure (and Dole Whip)! On our trip in September I spent a little extra time exploring Adventureland and it was a blast.
Out of all of the lands of Magic Kingdom, I’ve probably spent the least amount of time in Adventureland. Growing up it just wasn’t a priority like Tomorrowland or Fantasyland. I was really only there for Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise (before I discovered Dole Whip of course).
I’ve definitely changed my tune over the past few years and dare I say it has inspired my style in some ways! Ever since Dole Whip, I find myself drawn to pineapple everything. And my style is no exception! (Let’s just say this isn’t my only pineapple shirt.)
There’s just something about pineapples that makes me feel like I’m on vacation! Spend a little time in Adventureland and you’ll feel that way too. There’s treats, attractions, and a really fun area loop…what could be better? Plus this area totally gives me Polynesian Resort vibes, one of my favorite resorts!
I got this perfect pineapple paradise shirt is from TJ Maxx. (Similar looks here and here.)And here’s another Disney small shop shirt made just for Adventureland! You may recognize my suspender shorts (similar here) from a previous post and as usual I’m rocking my favorite park shoes! My champagne ears are from Mouse Made Monograms. As for accessories, I’m never without my castle necklace (currently only available in Disney Parks) and favorite rose gold Lillian & Co. bracelet. (Use code “KAIT10” at checkout for a magical discount!) To finish the look off, I borrowed these super cute sunnies from Paris!
If you haven’t had a chance to visit, I suggest stopping by the Swiss Family Treehouse in this land. While it’s not a main attraction by any means, I think it’s a great example of Disney’s attention to detail!
The idea of Adventureland was all Walt’s because of his love of True-Life Adventure films and of course animals (i.e. Jungle Cruise and The Enchanted Tiki Room). How cool is that? We are able to take in the excitement of an area created with Walt in mind!
As things continue to change around the resort, I truly hold these original areas in my heart. I’m always up for new and exciting, but the nostalgia and history of Walt and his dreams are also a big part of the experience to me!
What land in Magic Kingdom would you like to inspire your style?

October 28, 2017 at 8:18 amI agree, the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse is such a cool thing to see. Oddly enough, something I don’t think gets enough love that I LOVED as a kid was Tom Sawyer’s Island! Love your cute Disney outfit! (Well, and the fact that your blog is basically all Disney, which I am obsessed with!)

October 30, 2017 at 12:43 pmLove this outfit! I like to think my style is very Fantasyland, but that might be my fantasy. I always loved the Swiss Family Treehouse when I was little! Even when I was 18 and we went to Disney for my senior year “gift,”I insisted that we had to climb around and explore. I LOVE all of the details!
