The Play Disney Parks app is a free app that helps guests to pass the time in line on their Disney vacation. Through interactive games and playlists, you’re able to experience Walt Disney World in a whole new way! As you earn digital achievements on the app, you’ll be eligible to purchase special Play Disney Parks pins, and Disney has announced three new pins available for purchase.

Guests can now purchase these three new pins at Walt Disney World and Disneyland for earning the following ride achievements: High Seas Scallywag at Pirates of the Caribbean, Hitchhiking Ghost at Haunted Mansion, and Star Tourist at Star Tours — The Adventure Continues. Each pin is shaped like a star, features characters or icons from the three beloved attractions, and has the word “play” displayed on them to label them as Play Disney Parks achievements!

In order to earn these Play Disney Parks achievements, guests must simply be logged into the app, and Bluetooth and Location Services enabled, and ride the attractions that feature the achievements. Once your achievement has been earned, you can show your digital achievement screen to the cast member at checkout to purchase your commemorative pin.

The High Seas Scallywag pin can be found at Plaza de Sol Caribe Bazaar in Adventureland and the Hitchhiking Ghost pin can be purchased at Memento Mori in Liberty Square. You’ll have to head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to purchase the Star Tourist pin from Tatooine Traders. The entire collection is also available at Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom.
