EPCOT’s much-anticipated new attraction finally has an opening date — and it’s a pretty exciting one. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is set to open on Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, October 1, 2021! This attraction that has become a staple of Disneyland Paris will now join the attraction lineup in EPCOT’s World Showcase. (Watch a ride through of the original attraction here.)

If you’ve visited EPCOT in the past two years, it’s no secret that this park has been undergoing a lot of big changes. From new landscaping, logo, and fountain near the entrance, to the exciting new Disney Skyliner transportation service near the International Gateway, it’s been an exciting transformation for Walt Disney World’s second gate. With some of EPCOT’s other big projects on hold for most of 2020, Disney fans are thrilled to finally have an opening date for this new attraction!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

This attraction is based on Disney and Pixar’s Ratatouille and will be located in EPCOT’s expanded France pavilion in World Showcase. Guests are shrunk down to the size of a “Little Chef” as they scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant from the film! This attraction has no height requirement so it’s sure to be fun for the entire family.

What’s New to the France Pavilion

In addition to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, France’s newly expanded pavilion will be welcoming a new restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris. The menu will feature authentic French hard cider, sweet crepes, and naturally gluten friendly buckwheat galettes. Offering both quick- and table-service options, La Crêperie de Paris is sure to be another exciting opening for guests on October 1, 2021.

The countdown to October 1, 2021 is on, but until then we’ll just have to admire this romantic new section of the France pavilion from afar. (I highly suggest checking it out by riding the Disney Skyliner, great views!)

‘The World’s Most Magical Celebration’ kicks off it’s 18 months of fun on Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, and this Disney lover can’t wait to experience it! It’s been a dream of mine to attend the 50th Anniversary celebration for as long as I remember, and on October 1, 2021 this dream of mine will finally come true.
