My Magical Disney Shoot
Last week when I was in Walt Disney World, I booked a photo shoot with an amazing photographer, Jess Collins! I got my photos back on Thursday and I wanted to share some of them with you!
As a true Disney lover, a photo shoot in a Disney Park has always been a dream of mine. When Nick and I went on our honeymoon to Disneyland last May we did our first Disney Park shoot with Katherine Rose Photography and it was such a blast. When we booked our trip for Mardi Gras to Walt Disney World, I began searching for a Disney photographer for another shoot. I knew that I wanted to do a shoot in Magic Kingdom, and Jess agreed to make it happen!
What I loved about our shoot was that it was for 3 hours in the park! Time is so important when it comes to a photo shoot, but especially one in Disney. Between crowds, ride wait times, and outfit changes the time can go by quicker than you think. Jess was great about using this extra time to focus on shots that wouldn’t have a ton of extra people in them which was awesome!
Fun Fact: Jess and I are both Disney lovers! Besides the obvious perk of a photo shoot in the Happiest Place on Earth, sharing a love of Disney was a major plus for us. We swapped stories about past trips, our favorite Disney foods, and even talked about dream Disney shoots in the future! After the magical session we had last week I can definitely say there will be more Disney Parks shoots to come.
If you’re looking to have a Disney shoot of your own, I highly suggest planning ahead on locations and outfits! Jess and I had a plan of action for our shoot and it made the day more fun and relaxed. We were able to cover so much ground and it was a great feeling! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in our future Disney shoots!
To see what Jess had to say about our dreamy Disney shoot and others she has done, head on over to Jess Collins Photography!
