Sunset at Storybook Circus

Come one, come all!  Step right up to witness the magic and beauty of this unique area!

Nestled between Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find a hidden gem. Storybook Circus is a part of New Fantasyland and has recently become one of my favorite spots in Magic Kingdom!

You may recognize this location from my post about cool photo spots around Walt Disney World! Storybook Circus was my choice for Magic Kingdom, and I think the area speaks for itself.

Back in September on our #bestiedreamtrip2k17, Paris and I decided to pay Storybook Circus a visit since it’s an area that we usually pass up. What we found was pure magic!

We fell in love with the theming that made us feel like kids again. There’s just something about the idea of a circus that makes me smile from ear to ear!

I love how Disney not only gave Dumbo a proper home in this circus theme, but how they also added Mickey’s friends back into the theming of this area! Since this section was previously Mickey’s Toontown Fair, I appreciate the idea of tying the two together.

Between the bright colors and yummy smells, I was so happy spending the last two hours of sunlight taking all of it in! My biggest worry was trying not to get sprayed in the splash zone, and I’ll take that worry over adulting any day. Paris and I have got another trip planned for March and I know we will be stopping by again!

Thankful for places like this that let me escape from reality, even just for a little bit. If you find yourself in Magic Kingdom before sunset, be sure to stop by Storybook Circus and take in all of the dazzle and delight!

What’s something that still makes you feel like a kid at heart?

I’ll have to tell my friend to stop by here – she works at Disney! I would love to make a trip down to experience this in person. Recently I was in Japan and went on a Mario Kart tour, and that definitely made me feel like a kid playing the video game. It was awesome!
