Wednesday, May 1, 2019 marked the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios! In honor of this important milestone, a lot of park updates were announced and one of the more exciting ones means that a new dining location will be coming to Andy’s Backyard. On Tuesday, April 30, 2019 Disney announced that a new Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant will be opening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

The restaurant will be Andy’s newest play area that he’s assembled, and much like the rest of his backyard this new location will be just as creative in design. Using just three cardboard boxes that have been cut and taped together, Andy has created a rodeo arena featuring his favorite games, playsets, and toys! Although some of the aspects of this restaurant will be rodeo-themed, Andy’s touch of assorted toys are what brings the fun of this colorful new atmosphere that only a child could create.

Once you enter the all-new restaurant you’ll get to see all of the rodeo festivities in action for yourself! The rooms will feature train station and western town play sets, as well as a few of your favorite Disney-Pixar characters. Some examples of what you can expect to find are toy versions of Bo Peep and her sheep as well as Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull-toy.

This all-new table service restaurant will be an exciting addition to Andy’s Backyard! Home to the already popular quick service restaurant Woody’s Lunch Box, Toy Story Land will benefit from a second dining option for the toys coming to visit. What makes this new restaurant so exciting is that it will immerse guests into a “kaleidoscope of toys, games, and playsets” all while creating additional dining locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Menu items and opening information for this all-new restaurant aren’t available just yet, so hold your horses!
