Ten Free Walt Disney World Souvenirs To Collect on Your Next Trip

Walt Disney World is the ultimate vacation destination, and what better way to remember such a happy place than through souvenirs from your trip? While normally souvenir costs can start to add up, the Most Magical Place on Earth is full of free souvenirs that you’ll love to bring home. While there are tons to choose from, here are ten unique souvenirs you should try to collect on your next Disney trip.

Park Maps

What better way to remember your Disney vacation than with some park maps? While this may seem like a simple souvenir, park maps are constantly changing. Creating the tradition of collecting park maps on each trip could be a fun way to look back on past trips to see how Walt Disney World has changed.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Spell Cards

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is an interactive card game that lets you see the park in a whole new way. One of the best things about this Walt Disney World experience is the souvenir that comes with it: Spell Cards. There are so many to collect, including special cards for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, so be sure to keep collecting on future visits!

Kidcot Station Activities

Ziploc recently became the new sponsor of Epcot’s Kidcot Fun Stops, and with this new sponsorship came new activities. Participating guests receive a Ziploc bag resembling a suitcase to hold all of their souvenirs as they travel around World Showcase. At each stop, there’s a special traveler’s card waiting for you with facts about that country. Once you make it all the way around, you’ll have a suitcase full of memories to take home with you.

Mardi Gras Beads from Port Orleans French Quarter

Disney loves to add theming into everything they do, and their resorts are no exception. If you visit the lobby of Port Orleans French Quarter, you’ll have the chance to snag a little piece of New Orleans. Guests can receive their very own Mardi Gras beads from the resort – a perfect memento of this Louisiana-inspired resort. Something similar happens at the Polynesian Resort, but instead you’ll receive a lei! Stop by both resorts on your next trip if you can.

Free Photo Downloads from Disney Visa Character Meet and Greet

In Future World near Journey Into Imagination with Figment, there’s a free photo opportunity for Disney Visa Cardholders! Guests can visit between 1-7 p.m. daily to grab a photo with a few of your favorite classic Disney characters. This photo opportunity is available for up to 6 guests, and the photos will be loaded right onto your My Disney Experience app for viewing.

Participate in the Wilderness Explorers Program

A Wilderness Explorer is a friend to all, be it plants or fish or tiny mole! Next time you’re visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, be sure to participate in the UP-inspired Wilderness Explorers program, and gain some pretty cool souvenirs. It all starts with your Wilderness Explorer Guide, and as you complete each station, you receive a badge. Collect all 31 and you’ll earn a special sticker and the title of Senior Wilderness Explorer.

Passports From Epcot Festivals

Throughout the year, Epcot is home to unique festival experiences that give guests a chance to indulge in new and exciting tastes and activities. Your guide to all of this fun can be found in the Festival Passports that can be picked up throughout the park. Each passport contains information on all of the festival activities, and even stickers to mark off the experiences you’ve participated in!

Transportation Cards

Even Walt Disney World’s Transportation System has a unique souvenir opportunity. Each transportation vessel on Walt Disney World property has a corresponding card and you can try to collect them all during your visits to Disney. A Transportation Card includes facts, trivia questions, and even features a favorite Disney character! There are 27 cards to collect and transportation drivers are carrying cards at random, so you never know which card you’re going to get.

Celebration Buttons

One of the very best Walt Disney World souvenirs you can grab is celebration buttons in the parks. Disney has created colorful buttons for almost any occasion, from birthdays to anniversaries to first visits! These buttons can be found at any Guest Relations office or Disney Resort front desk and are completely complimentary.

Magic Talisman Cards

Another unique experience that Magic Kingdom offers for young adventurers is A Pirate’s Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas. This interactive game takes you on one of five pirate missions around Adventureland, complete with a map and magic talisman card. Each adventure takes about 20 minutes to complete, and you can participate in all five for free! At the end, you’ll have your maps and magic talisman to remember this exciting adventure.
