YOU. ARE. A. TOY!

It’s been almost two weeks since the opening of Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Guests are shrunk down to the size of a toy and able to explore Andy’s Backyard. With this new land comes two new attractions, a new quick service restaurant, and tons of new perfect little details!

I had the chance to visit Toy Story Land on opening day and it was quite an adventure. I’m dishing all the details for this area and a few pro tips that you will want to keep in mind for your next Disney trip!

Slinky Dog Dash

Andy built the perfect family coaster for his toys right in his backyard! Hop aboard Slinky Dog and enjoy a speedy and silly ride around Toy Story Land — complete with views of Galaxy’s Edge. Reach for the sky on this exciting rollercoaster and don’t forget to smile for your picture!

Pro Tip: Any seat is a great seat, but rows one and nine are the best!

Alien Swirling Saucers

OOOOOOOOH. The Little Green Men are finally getting the love they deserve with their very own Toy Story Land attraction! Take a ride on a flying saucer in a playset that Andy got from Pizza Planet. Listen to out-of-this-world electronic covers of some of your favorite Toy Story jams and enjoy the ride!

Pro Tip: Have a Toy Story movie marathon before your trip so you can appreciate all of the fun remixes of the classic movie soundtracks!

Toy Story Mania

This Disney’s Hollywood Studios favorite is still here, but with a brand new entrance and waiting area! Guests can travel from Andy’s Backyard right back into Andy’s Room for five games of fun. Who doesn’t love carnival games, amiright?

Pro Tip:Don’t be so quick to rush out of the building after riding. There are plenty of cool details and Toy Story Land walls to check out while you’re exiting including the fan-favorite Popsicle Stick Wall!

Woody’s Lunch Box

Toys get hungry too! That’s why Woody’s Lunch Box is the perfect place to stop for a bite in Andy’s Backyard. From Lunch Box Tarts to Breakfast Bowls and Monte Cristos, there’s sure to be something for everyone! You can’t leave Woody’s Lunch Box without trying the Mystic Portal Punch. It can get hot outside playing in Andy’s Backyard, so this Powerade-based drink is the perfect way to quench your thirst!

Pro Tip:For your first time in Toy Story Land, let everyone in your party order something different so you can try a little bit of everything! Portions are great so you definitely won’t go hungry.

Ready to Play Big? Toy Story Land is a fun new area that’s perfect for kids of all ages! Even with only a few attractions and one restaurant, this land packs the punch when it comes to theming! From giant Andy footprints to giant toy parts galore, you’ll feel like just one of the toys in Andy’s Backyard.

Ultimate Pro Tip: Early Toy Conquers The Land. Rope Drop will be the best way to be able to experience it all! Don’t wait longer than you have to. If you time it right you will be able to enjoy two of the attractions right at opening and save the third for your Tier A Fastpass+ reservation!

As you can see, this new addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an exciting one! With a few new changes coming to the park over the next year or so, it will be fun to see what Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have in store. For now, you can find me in Andy’s Backyard!
