Top Toy Story Photo Spots Around Walt Disney World
This summer is all about Toy Story 4, and if you’re visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth there’s a new way to be part of the movie magic. You can show off your best Duke Caboom poses all over property thanks to Disney’s PhotoPass Service and these Toy Story-themed photo spots! We’re sharing them all in this post, so you won’t miss out on any.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Since this park is where you’ll find Andy’s Backyard, it only makes sense that there’s a few fun photo spots at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The first photo you’ll want to capture in Toy Story Land is your reaction to riding Slinky Dog Dash. This photo will be linked to your My Disney Experience account shortly after your ride is over and will make for a great attraction memory!
Next is Toy Story Land character meet ups. In Andy’s Backyard guests can meet Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Bo Peep, and each photo spot includes a PhotoPass photographer ready to capture every moment. Bo Peep and Woody are meeting near the entrance of Toy Story Mania, Buzz Lightyear is stationed right after you enter Toy Story Land, and Jessie’s photo spot can be found by Alien Swirling Saucers and the land’s bathrooms. Don’t forget to grab your autographs!
PhotoPass features a few extra shots around this land that are pretty toyriffic! Grab a group shot with the Toy Story Land entrance sign and your pal Woody or pose with Buzz in front of Alien Swirling Saucers. As for Magic Shots, there’s one right in front of Slinky Dog Dash! You may just find an Army Man parachuting into your photo. Last, guests can pose with a cute Luxo Jr. Ball sign around Andy’s Backyard.
Magic Kingdom
In Tomorrowland it’s all about Buzz Lightyear! On Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin your picture will be taken while trying to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. Once you get off the ride, don’t forget to scan your MagicBand at the photo station so you can hold onto the memory forever! There’s also a Mission Log video that will appear on your My Disney Experience account later, so keep an eye out for that.
Also, in Tomorrowland, guests can meet Buzz Lightyear right outside the exit of his attraction! Grab his autograph and strike a few fun poses. Disney PhotoPass photographers are available here all day, ready to capture every smile, laugh, and pose!
Since Frontierland is more of Woody and Jessie’s territory, you’ll find a fun Magic Shot video opportunity near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. After the PhotoPass photographer captures your picture-perfect shots in front of Thunder Mountain, you’ll want to check your My Disney Experience account for the video that will appear. Woody and Jessie are seen dancing in front of your framed photo in perfect Woody’s Roundup fashion!
Disney Springs
Disney Springs is home to the Disney PhotoPass Studio where no reservations are required to capture amazing photos in front of countless virtual backdrops. The Disney PhotoPass Studio is currently offering a backdrop inspired by Andy’s Room, complete with his iconic cloud wallpaper! Grab a fun prop or pose with a group.
There’s also a pop-up shop for the new Toy Story Drop! app that launched earlier this summer. Located just outside of Paddlefish restaurant, guests can take their picture with The Claw machine and grab a limited-edition Toy Story Drop! Pop Socket while supplies lasts. This pop-up ends after August 9, 2019, so don’t miss your chance to check it out!
Disney H2O Glow Nights
This summer’s H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are all about Toy Story, which means even this special ticketed event offers exclusive photo spots. Guests can meet Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and Bo Peep while attending H2O Glow Nights! There’s even a Forky figure nearby that you can pose with before the night is over.
If you’re visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth and plan on taking advantage of these toyriffic photo spots, don’t forget to add Disney’s Memory Maker to your vacation budget! Enjoy unlimited downloads of all of your PhotoPass, Character, and On-ride photos for your whole trip. You’ll be happy you did once you’re headed back home!
