For those who have been missing Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we received some great news from Disney Parks Blog yesterday. The popular character dining location will reopen on June 20, 2021 — just in time for the start of summer! Guests with upcoming vacations can start booking reservations for Tusker House tomorrow, June 4, 2021. Check out the original Tusker House reopening announcement here!

This restaurant has been closed since last March, but Disney dining fans of all ages are over the moon that it’s finally making its return. While Tusker House used to be a buffet-style restaurant, it returns later this month with an all-you-care-to-enjoy menu. Meals will be served family-style and will include tastes inspired by the flavors of Africa. Guests can make reservations for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner.

If you’re spending breakfast at Tusker House, you can expect fresh fruits, pastries, and a plentiful breakfast skillet. Fresh fruit will be served with honey and yogurt, and the pastries basket will feature an array of bread including safari bread, cornbread and croissants, and all the spreads. As for your breakfast skillet, expect to see breakfast potatoes, sausage, Mickey and Simba-shaped waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs, jasmine rice, and chicken-egg curry.

Since this family-style dining experience is all-you-care-to-enjoy, don’t be afraid to ask for seconds of your favorites on the menu! Pricing for Breakfast at Tusker House is $42 per adult and $27 per child. Tusker House Breakfast reservations are available daily from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM.

Lunch & Dinner at Tuskers House

Whether you decide to dine for lunch or dinner at Tusker House, the menu and the pricing will be exactly the same! The meal begins with an African-inspired salad, Kachumbari and Arcadian Green Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette Dressing and house-made bread served with Hummus, Coriander, and Mango Chutney. Entree options include Berber Marinated Pork, Cape Malay Green Curry Shrimp, Moroccan Spiced Beef, and Spit-Roasted Herb Chicken. When it comes to sides, you’ll have a full spread! Chow down on green beans with corn and carrots, house-made mac and cheese, jasmine rice, and roasted potatoes. For dessert, guests can graze a spread of animal-inspired mini desserts.

Another unique thing you’ll find on the Tusker House Lunch and Dinner menu is an impressive array of mocktails, cocktails, and beer options. There’s sure to be something for everyone on the menu, including the kiddos thanks to the mocktail selection! Pricing for Lunch or Dinner at Tusker House is $55 per adult and $42 per child. Tusker House Lunch reservations are available daily from 11:00 AM until 3:30 PM. Tusket House Dinner reservations are available daily from 3:35 PM until 7:00 PM.

Guests can interact with Safari Donald, Safari Mickey, and Safari Goofy during this modifed character dining experience. Although these characters won’t be coming directly to the table, you can snap socially distanced selfies with them from afar.
