Hey Howdy Hey! Woody and his roundup gang are cooking up something exciting for guests visiting for Independence Day this year. For the first time ever, Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be home to a Toy Story inspired shindig! From Thursday, July 4 through Saturday, July 6, event guests will get to shrink down to the size of a toy and visit the playset of Woody’s Roundup.

Toy-Riffic Activities

Once they’ve arrived at Woody’s Roundup, guests will be greeted by Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Bullseye! With fun playtime activities like carnival games, Toy Story craft stations, and trick roping demonstrations, there is so much excitement to be had on this fun-filled evening. Even Mr. Microphone will be playing some of Woody’s favorite songs for you to sing and dance along to. Guests can also expect to see a balloon artist creating Toy Story characters right before their eyes.

No Fourth of July celebration would be complete without fireworks, so Walt Disney World has got you covered! The Porte Cochere at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers amazing views of the nightly fireworks show that you won’t want to miss. On Thursday, July 4 guests will experience Disney’s Celebrate America! -A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. On Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6, event guests will experience Happily Ever After. All three fireworks experiences will begin at approximately 9:15 PM.

Roundup Gang Grub

In true Woody’s Roundup spirit, this event comes with a full-blown Barbeque Buffet! Have your fill of fixings from this delicious menu. Entree options include Barbecue Beef Brisket, Fire-Roasted Vegetable Cake with Chipotle Succotash, Grilled Boneless Chicken served with Roasted Peach Coulis, and Smoked Pork Ribs. Woody’s offering an array of sides with his signature entrees, including Cornbread and Honey Butter, Grilled Seasonal Vegetables, Mixed Greens and Dressing, Southern-Style Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, and a Vegetarian Campfire Chili. For dessert, enjoy your fill of various sweets such as Cherry Pie Shots, Red, White and Blue Push Pops, Salted Caramel Cookie Bars, and Fresh Sliced Melon as a healthier option.

You kids won’t do without when it comes to dinner! Woody’s Roundup gang has cooked up an entire menu with the kiddos in mind. Woody’s Kids Menu includes healthy options like a Garden Salad with Ranch Dressing, as well as favorite dishes like Hot Dogs and Chicken Fingers with BBQ Sauce and Honey Mustard. For sides, kids can have their fill of Corn, Creamy Mickey Roni and Cheese, and Potato Barrels. Finish off their meal with Cookies and Brownies, and they’re ready to play!

Woody’s Roundup takes place for three nights only, from Thursday, July 4 to Saturday, July 6 from 6:15 to 9:15 PM nightly. Located in the Fantasia Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Woody’s Roundup check-in will begin around 5:45 PM at the West Registration Counter in the Convention Center.

Tickets for Woody’s Roundup will cost $149 for guests ages 10 and up, and $99 for guests ages 3 to 9. These tickets include taxes and gratuity in the pricing. Disney Dining Plan and other discounts or promotions are not available for the special ticket event.
